Abstract

One infrastructure that is very important to connect one area to another is the bridge. Therefore, it is proper for the bridge to be considered by carrying out routine maintenance and maintenance to maintain its optimum performance. But in reality, many bridges in Indonesia have been abandoned and eventually many of them repeat the damage. The bridge reviewed in this study is the Way Tebakak Bridge in Lampung Province, which was conducted in 2017. The evaluation carried out on this bridge is an evaluation of visual observations. The assessment method used to assess the visual condition of this bridge is the BMS (Bridge Management System) method. From the data, data processing is performed to determine the condition value, then the condition value is used to predict the remaining life of the bridge. The results of the analysis show that some bridge elements need handling are the bridge floor with NK = 2 and the bottom of the abutment with NK = 1. While the other components only experienced minor damage. The results of the analysis of the remaining life of the bridge show a condition value of 2, therefore prediction of remaining life based on the Bina Marga method is 19 years. These results indicate the bridge is still able to perform optimally until the age of the plan.
