ABSTRACT
In the last few decades, wastewater treatment technology has continued to develop. This article aims to analyze trends in global wastewater treatment, focusing on the treatment systems used in several countries. The research methodology uses prism analysis in the trend analysis of wastewater treatment systems using bibliometric and biblioshiny methods. Through the prism analysis of the latest bibliometric data and information, this article discusses trends in the development of new technologies and better practices in wastewater management. The results of the bibliometric analysis show an increase in the number of publications related to wastewater treatment systems, as well as the dominance of several popular research topics such as treatment processes, water quality, and treatment technology. This study provides valuable insights for researchers and environmental practitioners in the development of effective and environmentally friendly wastewater treatment systems.
